Hi All - and thanks to Gabi for tips on how to post (hope this now works). Here is my first BSJ.

I haven't put the buttons on yet as I don't know whether it's a boy or a girl (my friend is due on July 22nd). I also haven't decided whether to use the green, the beige or whether to alternate them. This was knitted in Cherry Tree Hill Spring Mist.

I have started BCJ 2 using bits of leftover Shepherd Sock wool. It's going to be alot brighter than the first one!

Here goes...

My pattern arrived on Saturday from Schoolhouse so I went out and got some supplies...

Robin Double Knit Print (in a very pretty multi coloured shade and only cost £1.79 per 100g ball so nice and cheap :-)

and 4mm circular needles.
I will probably need tons of help from you good people as I am very much a beginner when it comes to knitting.
I have cast on my 160 stitches so I'm away...

Hi Everyone!

I am a bit of a late arrival. I ordered the pattern from Schoolhouse Books the other day and am patiently waiting it's arrival:-)
I will probably need a lot of help as I only learnt how to knit recently. I know this is a rather adventurous project for a beginner but I would love to have a go.

I've been asked to knit something for an eighteen month old girl so am wondering whether to try my hand at the pinwheel sweater... has anyone tried that? got any tips?

t.i.n.k.

I made a mistake and had to tink some rows. I did not realize on row 57 (where the 10x k5, m1 are) that I had to also keep the rhythm with m1, k1, m1 after the 28 sts and so I missed 4 sts later.
So I tinked and will make another attempt tonight :-). I thought there could not be 2x m1 together, but they seem to be.
